How to install an AI agent — without coding

You don't install an AI agent by building one. The simple way: download an agent file, paste it into an AI tool like Claude Code, Codex or Cowork, and press Enter. The tool runs the installation for you — about two minutes, zero lines of code.

What you need before you start

  • A computer (Mac or PC) you can leave on whenever you want the agent working.
  • An AI tool with terminal access: Claude Code, Codex or Cowork — the one you already use is fine.

What if I don't have an AI tool yet?

Common mistakes (and how to avoid them)

  • Pasting only part of the file: select ALL of it (Cmd+A / Ctrl+A) before copying — the file works as one block.
  • Reading the file and panicking: it's written for your AI, not for you. It looks technical — that's normal.
  • Refusing continuous-execution mode: your tool will ask permission to work without interrupting you at every command. Without it, the install gets tedious.
  • Turning the computer off and wondering why the agent sleeps: an agent runs on YOUR machine — on, it works; off, it waits.

    Open the file, select everything (Cmd+A or Ctrl+A), copy (Cmd+C or Ctrl+C).
